Thinking up Catchy Usernames For Dating Sites Doesn't Have To Be Hard. Read These 5 Tips

I think the moral of the story is that the more work you put into something, the better it gets and that can be the same when you are thinking of using a cool catchy username for a dating site.

When done quickly it can look dull and is a surefire way of it not reflecting what type of person you are. But take your time over it, say give yourself five to seven days, then it is going to be time worth spending because the results you are going to achieve far outweighs the effort it took to acquire them.

Done in haste – Repent at leisure

A bad username will not get you any results when it comes to online dating. You are honestly going to think that online dating is fake, or it is outdated, and nobody does it anymore. But you couldn’t be further away from the truth. It is a booming business and more and more people are logging on to them at tremendous rates year after year.

Men judge a woman first by looking at her profile pic. Women, on the other hand, look at the username first as a screening process then the photo.

Words create such emotional meanings and having bad negative terms in your username can be 100% turn off, and that is what you don’t want to have happening so here are my five major tips that I would suggest to you.

Here are my five quick tips for choosing a catchy username

#1 You can incorporate your name if you wish, just do not put a whole load of numbers after it. I have never understood why people do this. The numbers may have a special significance for you but how is someone going to see this when they look at it. There are so many people doing this at the moment that it isn’t going to reach out to anyone special is it. It is going to be in lost among a sea of samey looking profile names, I’m afraid.

#2 Incorporate a positive association with the name. Always look for something more upbeat and positive and uplifting and inspiring.

#3 Don’t make it overtly sexual, depending on the dating site you are using, another big turn off!

#4 Use your hobbies or any cool show you are really into.

#5 If you are a man, put something more manly or alpha and incorporate that into it as well.

Hope these five quick tips will help you to think about using a better username next time you need to use it.
